Dr. Danielle Maack


Dr. Danielle Maack received her Ph.D. from the University of Wyoming in 2010, and completed residency and a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. Dr. Maack specializes in the treatment of mood and anxiety disorders in adults, couples therapy, and diagnostic assessment. Her specialty training in organizational behavior consulting makes her ideal for human factors consultation and projects focused on integrating psychology into primary care settings.

Dr. John Young


Dr. John Young received his Ph.D. from the University of Hawaii in 2008 after completing his pre-doctoral residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. Clinically he specializes in the assessment and treatment of children and adolescents, with a particular emphasis on difficulties with anxiety, depression, or oppositional/defiant behaviors. Dr. Young also provides many of Delta Autumn Consulting’s assessment services, including ADHD, learning disability, pain management, and pre-surgical evaluations. He also enjoys consulting opportunities that focus on promoting innovation, especially in small organizations.

Dr. AK Black


Dr. Black received her Ph.D. from the University of Mississippi in 2018 after completing her pre-doctoral internship in clinical psychology at the UAB-BVAMC Training Consortium in Birmingham, Alabama. She specializes in the assessment and treatment of anxiety, trauma, and stress-related disorders in younger and older adults. Through her background in behavioral medicine and health psychology, she also brings unique expertise in working with various health conditions that often co-occur with psychological problems such as chronic pain, headache, and sleep disorders. Dr. Black additionally assists with a variety of our psychological evaluations for ADHD, learning disabilities, pain management, and surgery candidates.

Pete Bishop


Pete received his Master’s degree in Counseling from the Reformed Theological Seminary in 2000, and has enjoyed a career in clinical practice since that time. He has recently returned to school at the University of Mississippi to complete his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. He specializes in the treatment of anxiety and depression in various age groups, as well as behavioral disturbances in children.

Brittany Sapp


Brittany received her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Mississippi College in 2013, and is currently completing her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Mississippi. She specializes in the treatment of emotional difficulties across age groups and behavioral disorders in children and adolescents. She also assists in conducting our assessments, including chronic pain, bariatric, and school evaluations.
